Troubleshooting: Report and Certificate Downloads and Printing

Vivace Reports - Troubleshooting

Vivace now makes life a lot easier for Teachers, Area, and State Admins with multiple report capabilities!
Troubleshoot these three settings if you are having trouble.

Downloading a Vivace PDF Report
Your browser will typically allow a Vivace report to be downloaded. However, your system may sometimes turn off this function (called “allowing pop-ups”) during a browser update! Re-activate the function according to the instructions for a Mac or PC.

  • Mac Users:
  • Windows Users:
You should be using Chrome or Firefox with Vivace. Do an Internet query (“allowing pop-ups with [BROWSER NAME]”) for your browser.

Finding a Vivace PDF Report

Your browser will typically download Vivace reports to your Downloads folder. If you wish the downloads to land elsewhere, you must indicate the location in your browser settings.

Viewing and printing a Vivace PDF Report

  • Mac Users:
By default, PDFs will open in the native reader Preview app found on most Macs. (It can be downloaded from the Mac AppStore.) You can also download Adobe Reader (get.adobe.com/reader/) for viewing, then printing PDFs.
  • Windows Users:
You will need to download Adobe Reader (get.adobe.com/reader/) for viewing, then printing PDFs.

Vivace Certificate Printing - Troubleshooting

End-of-year, pre-recital "crunch" time is now faster with the ability to print names on certificates with a student list download from Vivace!

Printing NFMC Festival Certificates
Sometimes, certificates may not print totally aligned on some home printers. To correct this, we suggest downloading the information for the certificates as an Excel file, and use this to perform mail merge with a Word document. You will then be able to manipulate each data field to be in the perfect position for your own home printer!
